Many people think youth sports are just about winning games, but the Dragon Foundation in Lake Orion sees them as a way to build character, creativity, and community. As parents, we all want the best for our children - and a huge factor in their growth and success is their environment.

The organization began as Lake Youth Football and Cheer and grew into a mission-driven nonprofit that helps kids develop through four pillars: sports, arts and music, skilled trades, and mindfulness. Founded by Lake Orion resident and former athlete Todd, the foundation focuses on protecting children’s innocence and giving them a safe place to grow and explore their passions.

From partnering with the NFL’s Progressive Tackle program to collaborating with local schools and law enforcement, the Dragon Foundation is setting a new standard for youth development. Coaches are carefully vetted, programs are thoughtfully designed, and the focus remains on teaching life skills both on and off the field.
